District Governor Visit

The District Governor Matthias Oladeinde Shoga, District 9110 Rotary International visited the Rotary Club of Agbara on the 21st of December 2010.

During his visit, he commissioned various project while he also encourage members to contribute to Rotary Foundation in support of the Rotary projects world wide.

He charged the president Pascal Orisakwe and all members the club to work hard in order to earn the Rotary International Presidential Citation for 2010/11.

For me as a person it is once more a dream come true and to GOD be the glory.

My sincere appreciation goes to all my past presidents of RC Agbara, all members of the club and donors with whom we used their contribution during my installation as club president to execute all the projects that were commissioned during the DG visit.

26th President Rotary club of Agbara

The date was 30th of October 2010 and venue Panland after Agbara bus stop along Lagos-Badagry Express road, when I Rotarian Pascal Ikenna Orisakwe was presented to the public and formally inducted as the 26th President Rotary club of Agbara. Once again I have achieved one of my goals in life.
Almost all the invitees were present and we as a club reaffirmed our commitment to serving humanity as all projects for the year had sponsors from Bole Hole Water, adult literacy education, scholarship programme, to vocational training.
Many thanks to everybody that was present and important to the chairman of the day Sir L.A. Arhere and Kouamen Basile Factory Manager Flower-gate.
I am highly indebted in gratitude to the chairperson of the induction Rotarian Kate C. Aiyenigba who worked so hard for R C Agbara to have one of the best adjudged induction programme of the club. To all members of Rotary club of Agbara i want to say thank you all and well done.
May we continue in “Building Community and Bridging Continents”

Dear Lord,

Thank you for leading me this far, for i know you will lead me till the end of time.

I have not been the best i should have, but you have always been by my side.

Even in situation where i had lost faith and got discouraged only you GOD had given me back my laughter.

I will always remain grateful to every life situation you have and will present to me.

Thank you for my wife, my children, my family members and friends.

NEW ERA AT ROTARY CLUB OF AGBARA

Fellow Rotarians, the 15th of December 2009, marked the day the Rotary club of Agbara held their general elections to identify the board that will lead, direct and handle the club affairs com rotary year 2010/2011.
Rotary club of Agbara was chartered April 2, 1985 and was sponsored by Rotary club of Badagry.
Among events for the day was the ratification of the President-Elect’s position which automatically made him incoming president, the election of the President- elect for that same Rotary year and the election of other board members for posts as the vice president, secretary, treasurer and four directors.
The Rotarians elected into these positions are as follows:
· Rotarian Pascal Orisakwe, who was ratified as incoming president has at different times held different positions in the club and has headed different committees. He has been past secretary 2005/06, 2006/07 including a number of other posts.
He is a past rotaractor president of the Rotaract club of Agbara 1998/99 and is generally known as a charismatic personality who is well known in the district.
· Rotarian Kate Aiyenigba was returned as President-elect having the honour of being the first female Rotarian to achieve this in rotary club of Agbara. She has been past secretary including heading different committees at different times in the clubs recent history.
· Past president Rotarian Pascal Ogbolu, M.D., a medical doctor, is a past president of the club. He was elected as vice president. In the by-laws of the rotary club of Agbara, this post is generally reserved for a past president.
His tenure as president was distinguished by the increase of the clubs membership.
· Rotarian John Edobor, a Mechanical Technologist, is a former Rotaractor. He was inducted Rotarian in to rotary year 2009/2010 and he must have shown a very strong desire to serve humanity, as he was as elected secretary for the incoming rotary year, just after being inducted.
· Past president Rotarian Egbamuno, a chemist was elected as treasurer
Four other distinguished Rotarians were elected as directors namely:
· Past president Rotarian Emedo Alex;
· Past president PHF Rotarian Peter Ademuyiwa;
· IPP Rotarian Patrick Emurese;
· Rotarian Debo Ogunlolu.
The elections were held in a spirit of camaraderie and were devoid of any form of rancour and unnecessary wrangling. Each nominated Rotarian was screened for eligibility using the bylaws of the club. All Rotarians present had one thing in mind: electing the best possible combination of Rotarians in order to have a successful 2010/2011 Rotary year for the Rotary club of Agbara.

Finally, the D day came April 7th 2008, Nestle Nigeria linked up to the rest of Nestle World using the Globe SAP solution.

It was dream come through for all working with Nestle Nigeria.

For me it was more than a life achievement and I am very happy to have been part of the team that made this historic mark in Nestle Nigeria.

Well this is the beginning of a new era in our day to day work flow.

Life can be so interesting and nice when it is shared with someone who cares and share love too.

I have over the years look for LOVE or who will show and share LOVE with. But to no success.

But I have come to terms in recent time that nobody can share love with you expect for that one coming out from the innermost part of you soul.

So do not look for love in others but radiate that love in you to the benefit of others within your reach and surrounding.

So keep on loving till the end of time.Peace out………

The team started their work with lot of issues not look clear but as the day goes by clarity of purpose sets in to what to do?, who will do what?, how issues will be done?.
I think what I need is to remain focus to all activities and hard working.
2008 will is the destination year, we shall be there.

I am taking a new assignment in the office very tasking I was told but I am very ready to start the task and to contribute my little input to making Nestle Nigeria great.

I wish you should have stayed back with us here in Nigeria.

My Cell Phone

I use to have 3 cell phones and 1 table phone at home but do you what I do not have any as at today. I have excommunicated myself.

I misplaced my V3, the NEC fell into water and the intercelluar disappeared with out a trace while the table phone can't pick signal. so what do i do?

Just wait till i can get another phone.

it was April 18 2005, I was driving back home with me pal Debby after we had escaped from the Dan of Secret cult members where we had gone to greet a friend, We picked this damsel up and she was going home.

From one discussion to the other, behold a new baby was born.This baby is called Friendship.

On the April 20th 2006, we were together like the first day we met. It came on a fresh and we did had a like time, Like Eduardo will say it was not mine.... but we or what else do you want to hear hah! go to bed now

Asuquo Night

April 7, 2006 witnessed the signoff of Asuquo George as a bachelor. A group of George friends came together to organize a bachelors-eve for him to finally pull him into the club of married men. Welcome brother!
the bachelor’s eve took place at the Whilophy Hotels NICA. I was there with a colleague and a friend by name Da Fonseca Santos Eduardo Luis, simply called Ed.
I had a nice time and I hope Ed had a nice time too. For George I wish him the very best as a married man.

Puzzle in the Land

It was like a joke when it all started on the 21/03/2005. We are looking for the actual number and size of members of our family (country) we were asked to sit down at home alone for 5day??? Anyway it came to be that 5days was not enough to get the actual number of our family size; there come the extension from 5days to 7days. Extension for what, how??? Who will bell the cat to ask why…Extension of stay at home was not very clear; hear them, for those not counted to stay at home but to do WHAT!!! I need to go to work for I do not have enough at home any more ha!ha!ha!!!We need to know that we have wasted lots of resources and lost billion of money. Somebody to tell that old man that its time he let young minds takes the affairs of the big family so as to get things done in the right and modern way.Any way not to mind meeeeeeeeeeeecheers

It is some kind of evil to be born black in a world where all claim that we are all equal??? Not minding the colour of your skin. It is sad when issues that you know very well are raised but due to the colour of your skin you opinion and views do not count.
